Award-Winning Visual Storyteller

I'm Marilee Combs, a North Carolina-based videographer, editor, and storyteller. I’ve always been drawn to the kind of videos that make you stop scrolling, pay attention, and actually feel something.

I studied Media & Journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill, where I graduated with Highest Honors and Distinction. While there, I won First Place in the Hearst Journalism Awards for Multimedia III, received the Saint Hayden Humanitas Award for documentary filmmaking, and worked as a Teaching Assistant for a graduate-level video production course.

Since then, I’ve created everything from documentaries and interviews to brand videos, social content, and event coverage. I love being involved from the very beginning of an idea through the final edit, and I’m especially interested in finding the small details and moments that make a story worth watching.
